If you created your Outlook (Office 365) account through GoDaddy and want to connect your inbox to Warmbox.ai, you'll need to refer to the following guide instead of the classic Configure Microsoft 365 guide.
This is because GoDaddy, acting as your provider, limits the access you have to your Microsoft Admin Center, so you will not be able to make the necessary edits on your own.
โ TL;DR
I. Disable "Security default" in the Azure Active Directory Admin Center
II. Contact GoDaddy Support to activate "Authenticated SMTP" in the Office365 Admin Center.
I. Disable "Security default" in the Azure Active Directory Admin Center
1. Access the Azure Active directory via this link, and log-in with your Office 365 credentials
2. You will then be redirected to a dashboard, click on "Azure Active Directory" in the left bar menu
3. Click on "Properties" in the list
4. At the bottom of the page, click on "Manage Security Default"
5. Click on the "No" button under "Enable Security defaults", and click on the "Save" button
II. Contact GoDaddy Support to activate "Authenticated SMTP" in the Office365 Admin Center
Because you don't have full access to your admin panel, you'll need to ask GoDaddy support for action on their side, especially to "Enable SMTP".
Here's a template message that you can use to communicate with GoDaddy support:
"Hello,
I subscribed to Office 365 through GoDaddy and would like to edit some settings on my admin panel, but I'm redirected to your website and cannot access the desired settings.
I would need to:
Activate "Authenticated SMTP" in the Office365 Admin Center
See full guidance here:
Without the settings described in part I of this guide, I'm not able to use an essential third-party application.
Can you complete this settings on your end for me?
Thanks a lot."
Congrats! ๐You're done with the edits!
Now, wait for 1 hour for the changes to take effect.
After this, you can go back to Warmbox, add a new inbox and input your Office 365 username and password in the required fields to start the warm-up!
