Add a Gmail/Google Workspace inbox

Using Google Single Sign-On (SSO) is the quickest way to link your inbox to Warmbox. This method uses OAuth to authorize Warmbox to send emails on your behalf without requiring you to manage individual passwords.

⚠️ Important: Connection Stability ⚠️

While SSO is the easiest setup method, it can occasionally result in paused campaigns if Google triggers a security refresh.

For the most reliable connection, we recommend using an App Password instead. > Check out our guide on connecting via Credentials/App Password here.

Step 1: Add a New Inbox

Navigate to the Inboxes tab in your Warmbox dashboard and click the "Add new inbox" button in the top right corner.

Step 2: Select the Gmail Integration

In the setup pop-up, select the "Gmail - Gsuite" option and click Next.

Step 3: Choose "Sign in with Google"

Instead of entering credentials, click the Sign in with Google button.

Step 4: Authorize Warmbox

A Google pop-up window will appear:

1. Select the Google Account you wish to connect.

2. Review the permissions. Warmbox requires access to send and manage emails to perform the warm-up process.

3. Scroll down and click Continue.

Step 5: Configure Warm-up Settings

Once the connection is verified, you will be redirected back to Warmbox. You can now choose your warm-up strategy (e.g., Progressive, Flat, or Randomized) and click Save to start your campaign.

Troubleshooting OAuth Connections

If your inbox status shows as "Disconnected" or "Paused" after using this method, it is likely because Google has revoked the session. To fix this:

  • Re-authenticate by clicking "Reconnect" in your inbox settings.

  • Pro Tip: Switch to the App Password method to prevent this from happening again.
